I was very impressed by the service I received from Confit Direct when I place an order for a selection of foie gras products in November, delivery was very quick and the items were packed securely. As these delicacies were ordered specially for Christmas we have not yet opened them so cannot write a review of the products, although I am sure they will be of the highest standard. Shipping & Returns

 Shipping is free on U.K. orders over £60.  

 Below £60 there is a delivery charge ranging from £3.50 to £6.50 in the U.K. depending on weight . (£6.50 will only be charged on heavy -over 5kg gross- orders under £60 in value).
To calculate shipping cost, put the desired items in the cart, click on county, insert postcode and then click on Calculate Shipping & Handling.

For other destinations, please ring us or put the desired items in the cart, click on country or postcode and then click on Calculate Shipping & Handling

  • We will generally dispatch orders within 48 hours (longer if payment is by cheque) to arrive 3-6 days after your order is received for standard delivery. Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man etc, will take up to a week from dispatch.
  • Please contact us if you have not received your order after 12 days, as orders sometimes go astray after they leave us.
  • Orders can sometimes be sent by express next day delivery but may incur a small extra charge. Please ask.
  • We will do our best to deliver on a specific day (and are generally successful), but cannot guarantee this as deliveries are not in our hands.

Giving detailed delivery instructions (and permission to pass on a phone number) in cases where the delivery address is difficult to find, will greatly increase the likelihood of the items being received on the requested day.

  • Please note that we are not responsible for any problems/costs due to customer supplying incorrect/insufficient delivery details, but we will of course do what we can to resolve these issues to everyone's satisfaction. (The most common error is an incorrect delivery postcode, which we generally check before dispatch).
    Please check all details before finalising order.

Please note that, as our courier now strictly enforces their policy of charging for 3rd and subsequent delivery attempts, we may choose to pass this cost on to the customer (depending on context). So if you think you may not be in at the time of delivery please give alternative delivery instructions (i.e. 'leave with neighbour' or 'leave in porch')

  • We regret we cannot send to BFPOs or PO Boxes

Returns

An order can be cancelled and fully refunded (including delivery cost) up to 7 working days after delivery. However if goods have already been dispatched, the cost of return is payable by the customer.
