Bloc Duck Foie Gras 130g £10.10

(serves 2/3) from les Fleurons de Samatan, a small farmer's cooperative in the Gers in S.W. France where the ducks are reared in sheds with access to a large outdoor enclosure and never caged.

We recommend putting it in the fridge for a few hours, then put tin/jar in some warm water for 30 secs, open and turn out.
Slice with warmed knife and allow to warm to room temp and eat with crusty white bread or brioche. If you wish to heat the foie gras then flash fry, (a few seconds only!).

    This was bought for a friend recovering from an operation who has testified to its quality and healthy attributes. Delivery was extended because of holiday but I was warned before placing order so no problem. Order arrived on date promised.

    Excellent flavour and colour and the delivery was speedy and very efficient.
    This foie gras is a little untidy when you get it out of the tin, but as I use it for canapes, it's fine. I wouldn't recommend it for serving sliced as it is not pretty enough to justify it: buy a more expensive one for that!
