Bloc Duck Foie Gras 200g £13.55

(serves 4) from AFG Foie Gras in the Aveyron. Ducks are reared in sheds with access to a large outdoor enclosure and never caged.

We recommend putting it in the fridge for a few hours, then put tin/jar in some warm water for 30 secs, open and turn out.
Slice with warmed knife and allow to warm to room temp and eat with crusty white bread or brioche. If you wish to heat the foie gras then flash fry, (a few seconds only!).

    I prefer mine chilled rather than at room temp and with just some salt and pepper on toasted brioche.
    Quite delicious.

    Incredibly smooth and velvety, very luxurious.

    I served this as a starter with home made baguettes and butter, vacherin and honey flavoured with white truffle. My guests were amazed with the flavour and said they loved the fois gras so much that they'd have been happy with it as a main course.

    I'll definitely buy more from here as the quality and service are exceptional.

    I would give this product more stars if I could. Makes an excellent present or an outrageously good starter. Could be used for canapés. The customer service is excellent.
